CMS is reaching out to the public. Keeping the public aware of initiatives is part of transparency. The information below was posted today and is part of that effort. Please share it with your friends and family. The more informed we are as a nation the better outcomes we will see in the future.

CMS is pleased to invite the public to attend its two upcoming webinars titled Measuring Quality to Improve Quality: Strengths and Challenges of Clinical Quality Measurement and Patient-Centered Quality Measurement: What It Is and How to Get Involved. These webinars intend to illuminate some of the ways that quality measures and the Meaningful Measures Initiative are improving healthcare, with an emphasis on how these measures work and how the public can get involved in the development of quality measures. Each of the webinar topics will be presented on two separate dates this summer:

  • Measuring Quality to Improve Quality: Strengths and Challenges of Clinical Quality Measurement
    • Today, Tuesday, June 25 at 2:00-3:00 pm EST (Register here)
    • Thursday, June 27 at 2:00-3:00 pm EST (Register here) (Note: this will be the same presentation as 6/25)
  • Patient-Centered Quality Measurement: What It Is and How to Get Involved

Participants are encouraged to register in advance and only register for events they plan to attend, as space will be limited. If you have any questions, please contact MMSSupport@battelle.org.
