CMS announced this afternoon that nursing home resident and staff COVID-19 vaccinations are now available on Care Compare. This data was unveiled this afternoon (September 21, 2021). The reported data will be updated by CMS bi-weekly.
When you go into the nursing homes area and select a facility, you see this:
Opening the View COVID-19 Vaccination Rates shows (this is a sample – facility not identified):
This particular facility ranks higher than both state and national averages for residents and staff.
What does your facility look like on Care Compare?
Remember that you can also select multiple nursing homes in an area and compare their data side-by-side. This goes for COVID-19 vaccination as well as other factors provided on Care Compare.
If you click on the What’s New button in the lower right corner of the landing page (hyperlink in the 1st paragraph of this blog), you’ll see this:
