This information is intended for Long Term Care Facility Administrators, Directors of Nursing, Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinators, and staff who work with the MDS.
The Licensing and Certification Program at the Minnesota Department of Health is offering training regarding the implementation of the Optional State Assessment (OSA) and MDS 3.0 updates that are effective October 1, 2023. These classes are appropriate for staff who work with the MDS in nursing homes.
The training will be presented by Nadine Olness, RN RAC-CTA, State RAI Coordinator, and Robin Lewis, RN, Minnesota Case Mix Review Program Supervisor.
The training will be offered three times via Teams on the following dates:
- Wednesday, September 6, 2023, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 12, 2023, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, September 21, 2023, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
A recording of the training will be posted on the Minnesota Case Mix Review Program website two weeks after the final session.
