On or about Friday, April 5, 2019, you’ll be able to download your PEPPER report. You’ll see this notification on that website:
Beneath the grid, you’ll find links on accessing a video as well as a step-by-step guide to download your PEPPER report either through the PEPPER Resources Portal or the QualityNet Portal. There are also 3 requirements for accessing this report including “Access to the PEPPER is restricted to the provider’s chief executive officer, president, administrator or compliance officer. Corporate offices and/or facility management companies will need to obtain PEPPERs from each individual provider in their organization.
Note: if a provider does not have anyone with any of these titles, the person who has the authority to make decisions on behalf of the organization should check the box for the title that best describes their position.”
Once you’ve downloaded this year’s PEPPER report, utilize the Training and Resources for SNFs materials available to analyze your report findings. You’ll be able to register for a SNF PEPPER Review webinar on May 2, 2019 from 3-4pm (EDT) as well as access the SNF PEPPER User’s Guide – 7th Edition, numerous other PEPPER Resources as well as 3 audit tools (COT, Section O and Triple Check – all in PDF and Excel). Check out Other Resources to help your team’s analysis of this very important report.
