COVID-19 Vaccination
As part of CMS’ commitment to protecting nursing home residents, nursing homes are now required to report vaccinations of residents and staff. More information about these requirements and guidelines can be found here.
Ways to find vaccination rates:
- Search for a nursing home map: Enter a city, state, and/or ZIP code, and click on a dot to see that nursing home’s information for a nursing home and view data for the individual nursing home, including recent resident and staff vaccination rates.
- Listing of vaccination rates for individual nursing homes: Click here to see a list of every nursing home with recent resident and staff vaccination rates. (The current listing is dated July 5, 2021.) There’s also a separate tab for nursing homes with a staff vaccination rate of 75% or more.
- Charts showing vaccination rates by state: View the average percentages among nursing homes in each state who have reported vaccination data in the current or prior week.
- Vaccination rates in the dataset: View vaccination data, including these key fields: Recent Percentage of Current Residents who Received a Completed COVID-19 Vaccination at Any Time and Recent Percentage of Current Healthcare Personnel Who Received a Completed COVID-19 Vaccination at Any Time.
