Minnesota Statute Changes for 2021

This information is intended for Minnesota Long Term Care Facility Administrators, Directors of Nursing, MDS Coordinators, Registered Nurses, and staff who schedule or complete the MDS and those who submit reconsideration requests.

The Case Mix Review Program at the Minnesota Department of Health will host an information session regarding the Minnesota Statute Changes 2021, section 144.0724 subd. 4, 5, and 8 on Thursday, July 22, 2021, 1-2 p.m. presented by Robin Lewis RN, Case Mix Review Program Supervisor and Nadine Olness RN, State RAI Coordinator.

• Agenda Items Include:
  • A review of the statute changes
  • Why these changes were necessary
  • How we will be monitoring compliance
  • Penalties for late or missed assessments
