Texas Providers: COVID-19 Impact Survey – Your Participation Counts

Mary Madison, RN, RAC-CT, CDP
Clinical Consultant – Briggs Healthcare

As a contracted provider of services for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, the responsibilities of your organization are vital to the health and safety of Texans, especially during the ongoing pandemic.

HHSC understands that the pandemic affects providers in many ways, including impacts on revenues received, costs incurred and provider utilization.

To fully assess the impact of the pandemic, we request that you complete a survey to help HHSC develop policies that aim to mitigate the short-term and long-term impacts of COVID-19 on providers.

The survey takes about 25 minutes to complete, and your responses may help determine state funding allocations.  We recommend completing the survey in one sitting so that you do not lose your progress. Your feedback is important and will improve our service to you.  All survey responses are anonymous.

Take the survey here.  The survey is open until Friday, August 27, 2021 at 5pm (Central time).

Want to preview the survey? Download PDF here.

We encourage you to forward these communications to the appropriate persons in your organization who are familiar with the financial and utilization information for your billing provider (as defined by NPI/TPI) so they can respond to this survey.

Your participation is voluntary and valued.  We look forward to your feedback.

Email the HHSC Provider Finance Department for questions about the survey at HHSC_PFD_Survey@hhs.texas.gov.
