Just a few minutes ago (Friday, July 15, 2022), Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services, signed the RENEWAL OF DETERMINATION THAT A PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY EXISTS.

The PHE declaration will expire on Thursday, October 13, 2022 unless a) HHS terminates the PHE earlier or b) HHS renews the declaration for another 90 days.
Nothing has been posted yet on the HHS website. I’ll provide that notification when it’s available.
All waivers related to the PHE declaration remain in effect, including the waiver of the QHS (qualifying Hospital Stay). For more information on those waivers, check here.
