My apologies for missing this important proposed rule!  CMS-4201-P was published in the Federal Register on December 27, 2022.  The subtitle of  this proposed rule is Contract Year 2024 Policy and Technical Changes to the Medicare Advantage Program, Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Program, Medicare Cost Plan Program, Medicare Parts A, B, C, and D Overpayment Provisions of the Affordable Care Act and Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly; Health Information Technology Standards and Implementation Specifications.  The 298-page PDF version is found here.

Comments must be received no later than 5 p.m. on February 13, 2023.  20 days left for comment.

There is a great deal of important information in this proposed rule – it’s not a quick read by any means. Please pay particular attention to the changes proposed to the Medicare Advantage Program, PACE,  D-SNPs and HIT Standards and Implementation Specifications.
