CMS has posted the slides (51 total) from last week’s public webinar by the same title as this blog.

Effective October 1, 2023, all four (4) PAC providers will be providing data for SDOH (Social Determinants of Health) with SNF/LTC being the 4th to come on board. On slide #25, you’ll find this comment: Potentially applicable to all Medicare VBP and quality reporting programs. I have no doubt that this data collection will be applied to all Value-Based Purchasing and quality reporting for each PAC provider.  We’ll be hearing a lot more of this as we move along the initiative’s timeframes to examine and improve health equity for all.
