Reminder: April 2023 Pre-Implementation Performance Report Available on iQIES

CMS issued the April 2023 Pre-Implementation Performance Report (PIPR) to competing HHAs via the Internet Quality Improvement Evaluation System (iQIES). Instructions on how to access the PIPR are available on the Expanded HHVBP Model webpage under “Model Reports.”

Should you need to register as an iQIES user, experience difficulty locating the HHVBP file, or experience difficulty downloading the PIPR, please contact the iQIES Service Center at 1-800-339-9313, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM ET, or by email. To create a ticket online or track an existing ticket, please go to CCSQ Support Central.

Updated Expanded HHVBP Model Measure Calculation Resources

Two (2) updated resources detailing expanded HHVBP Model quality measure calculations are replacing learning systems resources previously published on the Expanded HHVBP Model webpage under the “Quality Measures” heading.

The Calculating Episode-Level Observed Values for the Total Normalized Composite (TNC) Change Measures resource replaced the resource titled: HHVBP Model Composite Measure Calculation Steps (PDF).

The Risk Adjustment in the Expanded HHVBP Model resource replaced the resource titled: An Overview: Risk Adjustment Process and Use in the Expanded HHVBP Model (PDF).

These updates consider the changes, starting in calendar year (CY) 2023, to Home Health Quality Reporting Program (HH QRP) measure maintenance, including the 1/1/2023 transition to OASIS-E.
