CMS has posted the NH COVID-19 data for the week ending May 28, 2023.

Comparing the May 28, 2023 data to the May 21, 2023 data shows these changes:

  • Resident primary vaccination completion rate decreased 0.1% again this past week;
  • Residents up to date with vaccines decreased 0.2% this past week;
  • Staff primary vaccination completion rate decreased 0.1% this past week;
  • Staff up to date decreased 0.2% this past week;
  • An additional 3,215 resident cases were confirmed this past week;
  • 110 resident deaths were reported this past week;
  • An additional 3,098 staff cases were confirmed during this past week and
  • 3,119 additional staff deaths were reported this past week which is 4 less than the previous week (likely is a data correction).

Be sure to review your facility’s vaccination rates on the list of every nursing home with recent resident and staff vaccination rates and other pertinent data as this data will be used for completing the COVID-19 Matrix during survey. State surveyors look at this data in preparation for your survey. You’ll also need to know your current rate (as reported to NHSN) and provide it to the survey team entering your facility. This data is current as of the week ending May 21, 2023.

The end of the PHE took place at 11:59pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

As of May 11, 2023, COVID-19 Community Levels (CCLs) and COVID-19 Community Transmission Levels are no longer calculatable; associated visualizations have been removed from COVID Data Tracker. The “COVID-19 Integrated County View” tab has been renamed “COVID-19 Vaccinations by County.” County-level hospitalization data will be available at COVID-19 Hospitalizations, Deaths, and Emergency visits by Geographic Area.

The above data was posted June 3, 2023.
