Please join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for an informational event to help providers, facilities and people with Medicare prepare for the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) at midnight EDT on May 11, 2023. CMS leaders and expert staff will present an overview of the effects of the PHE’s ending on our current waivers and flexibilities and then answer your questions.
In preparation for this webinar, we encourage you to review the following resources to determine what questions remain that will support your efforts after the end of the PHE: What Do I Need to Know? CMS Waivers, Flexibilities, and the Transition Forward from the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the Current Emergencies page, and the Coronavirus Waivers and Flexibilities pages.
When: April 25, 2023 from 3:30 PM (EDT) – 4:30 PM (EDT)
- CMS Leaders from the Office of the Administrator, Center for Medicare, and Center for Clinical Standards and Quality
- CMS Subject Matter Experts on Medicare policy and PHE-related waivers and flexibilities
Who should attend: National and local CMS stakeholders and partners who do business with Medicare.
Advance questions: When you register, you will see an option to ask questions in advance of the webinar. Please enter any questions in the registration form and we will work to address them during the session. Even though we won’t be able to individually answer all questions, they are helpful in preparing our presentations and materials.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the call. Please query that email address only about logistics related to the call. When you click the link to join the call on April 25, you will see a message stating that the host will allow you to join the event momentarily. Please continue to wait at that screen until the CMS team opens the call and admits everyone.
